World Environment Day 2024 and Novacart’s commitment to a more sustainable future

This year’s theme for World Environment Day is “#GenerationRestoration”, a symbolic call that encourages us to take actions to improve our world and our future.

At Novacart, we are always working on new, sustainable ways to produce and reduce our environmental footprint.
Our responsible production starts from the paper we choose: we select paper from FSC-certified forests that ensure planting more trees than they cut. This responsible management of our resources goes against deforestation, aiming to increase the areas under cultivation.

A New Photovoltaic Installation

In addition to using sustainable materials for our products, we are working toward a zero-emission future by improving our production chain, starting from our energy source. In 2023, Novacart headquarters installed 2.480 new photovoltaic panels that now produce 1,490,000 KW/h per year, avoiding over 279 Toe, saving over 670 tons of CO2, and preserving the equivalent of 55,800 trees.
